Dear Friends,
As most of you are aware, I recently sold my retail riding apparel business to Becker
Brothers. I do, however, still own and maintain the factory in New York City that
manufactures the riding apparel. To be more involved in that process as well as to
pursue my own design interests, I have taken an apartment in Manhattan on the
Upper East Side. I plan to spend approximately two weeks of each month in Lexington
and my remaining time in New York.
In Lexington, I will continue hosting Trunk Shows of designer clothes as well as my
own custom apparel for women, men & hunt clothing. The Frick Museum recently
commissioned me to design and manufacture hunt clothing for the opening of the
"Stubbs" exhibit, which was introduced at a formal opening touted by the New York
Times and several Palm Beach publications.
I'm really writing, though, to express hope that I will see you during this year's
Lexington Junior League Horse Show and World Championships in Louisville.
Finally, I have one more exciting secret to share. This fall, I will introduce my newest riding apparel venture - my very own
line of hunt clothing. Details will be revealed here on my website, so check back often. Thank you for your support and
encouragement as I venture into new territories. I look forward to seeing each of you personally very soon,
All The Best,
Carl Meyers
